About Me
I’m here to help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your life - even when things feel overwhelming. I won’t tell you that “everything is going to be okay,” because life comes with both calm and chaotic moments. What I will do is help you build the tools to navigate those moments with strength and clarity.
I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be fully yourself. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you - whether that’s managing anxiety, improving relationships, processing past experiences, or simply finding a sense of peace in your day-to-day life. Every person is different, so I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs.
Who I Work With
I work with adults, college students, adolescents, children, and professionals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, ADHD, anger, substance use, relationship issues, grief, self-esteem, and major mental health conditions such as bipolar and psychotic disorders. I also have experience supporting individuals with multicultural and immigration-related concerns.
My Approach
My style is collaborative, flexible, and centered around you. You set the pace, and we use your time in a way that feels most helpful - whether that’s processing emotions, learning coping strategies, or working toward specific goals.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Person-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches. This allows me to adapt therapy to what works best for you.
Why I Became a Therapist
My passion for therapy started in college, where I saw firsthand how many people were quietly struggling - and how powerful it can be to have the right support. Watching others grow through therapy inspired me to pursue this path so I could help people navigate their own challenges and build more fulfilling lives.
Outside of the Therapy Room
Originally from New York, I moved to Virginia a few years ago and still stay closely connected with my family. I grew up in an Italian-Puerto Rican household, so cooking is one of my favorite ways to unwind.
In my free time, I enjoy running, playing sports, and spending time with friends. I also spend a lot of time with my dog, Petey, an 80-pound mixed breed who keeps life interesting and full of love. My partner serves in the military, which gives me an added appreciation for the unique stressors that can come with that lifestyle. Recently, I became a proud aunt (“Titi”) of two, which has been one of the most meaningful additions to my life.
